Butter Chicken

Ingredients :
Chicken-500gms
Plain yogurt-2tblspn
Butter-3tblspn
Onion paste-1&1/2 tblspn
Garlic paste-1/2tblspn
Tomato paste-1tblspn
Lemon juice-1tspn
Turmeric powder-1/2tspn
Kasuri methi powder-1/2tspn
Red chilli powder -1/2 tspn
Coriander powder-1/2tspn
Sahi garammashla powder-1tspn
Cinnamon stick-1 or 2
Bay leaf-1
Finely grated ginger-1/2tspn
Oil-1/2tblspn
Salt & sugar-as per taste



Method:
Clean the chicken & cut them into small pieces. Now,
Take a bowl & marinate the chicken pieces with lemon
juice, plain yogurt,turmeric powder, red chilli powder,kasuri methi powder, coriander powder,sahi garammashla powder,1tblspn onion paste & garlic paste for 1hour.
Now heat oil & 2tblspn butter together.Temper it with bayleaf
& cinnamon stick. Wait till the fragrance comes out.
Now, add 1/2tblspn onion paste,fry it for a while.Then add the grated ginger
& tomato paste along with1/2 cup water.Stir for a minute.
Now, add the marinated chicken pieces into it.
Saute them for 10mins in low flame. Sprinkle salt as required & 1pinch of sugar
Into it. Cook for 7-8more mind.Let the gravy thicken.
Add 1tblspn butter before switching off the gas oven.
Serve it hot with roti/parantha/plain rice.
