Ingredients:
Potatoes-8/10(peeled off & half boiled)
Kashmiri mirch-1tspn
Red chilli paste-1tspn
Black pepper powder-1tspn
Ginger paste-1/2tspn
Cumin paste-1/2tspn
Fennel seed paste-1/2tspn
Cumin seed-1tspn
Cloves-3
Cardamoms-2
Cinnamon stick-1
Plain yogurt-1/2cup
Turmeric powder-1/2tspn
Salt & sugar-as per taste
Sahi garam mashala powder-1pinch
Method:
Heat oil in a frying pan.Fry the half
boiled potatoes slightly.
Now,marinate the potatoes with plain
yogurt,fennel seed-
ginger-cumin paste,kashmiri mirch
powder,red chilli powder,
black pepper powder,turmeric powder,salt
& sugar.
Keep them aside for 1-2hours
Heat oil & temper it with cumin seeds,cloves,cardamoms
& cinnamon stick.Wait till the fragrance comes
out.
Add the marinated potatoes.Mix them well
for 7-8mins.
Add salt & sugar again if required.
Finally,sprinkle sahi garam mashala powder
when the gravy
thickens entirely.Serve hot.
