MILK POWDER MALAI CHAMCHAM

Ingredients:

For The Chamcham:
Milk powder - 1cup (1 cup = 250 ml)
Sugar - 4 tablespoon
Liquid milk - 200 ml
All purpose flour - 1 table spoon
Baking soda - ¼ teaspoon
Cardamom powder - ¼ teaspoon
Water - as required to make the dough.

For Garnishing:
Sandesh - 1(to be powdered with hand)
Dates - cut into small pieces.



Method:
At first mix milk powder,flour and baking soda together.
Add a little water to make the dough.Dough must be soft.Another ½ teaspoon of flour can be added if the dough seems excessively soft.
Now,make small balls from the dough and shape them into Chamcham.
Heat a pan and boil the milk.Add sugar and stir continuously to avoid burning the sugar.Also add cardamom powder to the milk.
Add the chamchams carefully when the milk gets a little condensed but the milk should not be much condensed otherwise the sweets may break.
Let the milk boil with the sweets.Switch off the burner and let them cool.
Now,place the chamchams on a plate and pour the milk on it.
Refrigerate the sweets for half an hour.
Finally garnish the chamchams with powdered sandesh and date pieces.
Serve cold.
