White Chicken with veggies

Ingredients :
Boneless chicken- 250gms
Plain yogurt-100gm
Ginger paste -1tspn
Onion paste 1tspn
Peanut paste-2tspn
Red chilli powder- 1.5tspn
Black pepper powder- 3tspn
Bay leaf -1
Peppercorn- 5 or 6
Diagonally slited green chillis -2
Diagonally chopped capsicum - 1small
Carrot- 1(cut into medium pieces)
Raw papaya- 1/2(cut into medium pieces)
Potato(optional) -1small(cut into medium pieces)
Vegetable oil- 2tblspn
Butter-2tblsn
Salt & sugar- as per taste


Method:
Clean the chicken & cut into medium pieces.Marinate the
pieces with plain yogurt,red chilli powder,ginger paste,onion
paste,salt,2tspn of black pepper powder & 1tblspn of oil.
Keep aside for 1 to 2 hours.
Boil the carrot,potato & raw papaya together.Keep aside.
Heat rest of the oil & 1tblspn butter together and temper
it with bayleaf & peppercorn.Add the marinated chicken
along with the capsicum pieces.Stir continuously till the
oil gets separated.Now,add peanut paste & black pepper
powder.Stir for a while.Add slited green chillis & 1/2 cup
water.Add the boiled veggies,little salt & sugar.Wait till the
gravy thickens.Finally,add rest of the butter to enhance the
tast. Serve hot.
