MAGGI BHEL

Usually,Bhelpuri is a savoury snack and is also a type of chaat. It is made out of puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce.Bhel is often identified with the beaches of Mumbai, such as Juhu.Bhelpuri is thought to have originated within the street food stalls of Mumbai, and the recipe has spread to most parts of India and has modified to suit local food availability. However,Bhel with Maggi is absolutely a unique savoury.

Ingredients:
Maggi – 1 packet,
puffed rice – 1/2 cup (optional),
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp,
Water – 2 tbsp or as required,
Tomato – 1 (finely chopped),
Onion – 1 (finely chopped),
Coriander leaves – a handful (finely chopped),

Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp,
Sugar – a pinch,
Salt – as per taste,
Lemon juice – 1.5tbsp.

Method:

Roast the Maggi noodles in a pan till they turn golden brown.
Once they cool down, crush them with your hands.
Mix tomato ketchup, Maggi tastemaker and water in a bowl and keep it aside.
Take a big bowl and combine the onion, tomato, green chilli, boiled potato, peanuts, the tastemaker mix, sugar, salt, red chilli powder and lemon juice together. Mix well.
Add the puffed rice, roasted noodles and coriander leaves. Mix well and serve.
My Tip:
As it is a chatpata dish, one can use tamarind sauce instead of tomato ketchup.
